Sports Fun with a difference for ALL the Kids at your Centre
It’s fun, games and lots of laughter for children of all ages with our innovative Speed Games,Giant Soccer Ball, Giant Rocket Launcher, Wacky Sports and of course our very special Crazy Chooks. We visit centres in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and west to Toowoomba. Click here for our latest brochure (pdf file). What does it cost? $250 for 2 hours or $310 for 3 hours for Brisbane and Gold Coast centres. All other questions are answered further below By far the most popular activity at every centre we visit is "How Fast Can You Chuck the Chook?" Every child will have their very own squawking rubber chook to chuck. All chooks are named so be ready for some noisy fun as the children get acquainted with Noodles, Crazy, Drumstick, Snack-Pack, Cackles, Kay-Ef-See, Egg-Head, Nugget, Dip-Stick, Bonkers, Chicky-Babe, Wing Nut, Astro-Chook, Chick-A-Dee and more! Each child will also receive a “speed ticket” with their name and chook chuck speed recorded. Other speed activities the children enjoy include how fast can they throw, kick a soccer ball or footy, tee ball slogging and running. "Bombs Away!" involving 50 mini vortex's is also hugely popular as is targetting a rubber chook on a stand with the Giant Rocket Launcher. They also get a big kick out of how far they can boot the Giant Soccer Ball - sorry about the pun! For children who enjoy a challenge we bring a board with the ball speed records for their own age. These records have been built up over several years and all are simply incredible! As one person runs the fun and children take turns with activities we have created a format to suit all. For example at a 2 hour booking involving say 30 children we have you split them up into 3 groups of 10. Each group; usually of similar age; then spends 40 minutes with us. This works well as the time between turns is always kept very short and we can ensure the fun level is suited to each age group. Usually we have the youngest group first. Due to their tender age we make sure their activities are kept very easy-to-do. The last group is the "big kids". As they are more coordinated and competitive their activities are more challenging The above is just an example. While the "ideal" is 12 children every 40 minutes it is possible to vary the number of groups, the number in each group and the time allocated. We have successfully operated this format in many centres with numbers of children ranging from 12 up to 130 and from 2 to 5 hours. Carers can also join in the fun anytime. For Brisbane and Gold Coast centres it is $250 for 2 hours or $310 for 3 hours then $55 per hour. Gst is included. For centres on the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba it is an extra $50. However if you can network with other local centres so that we visit one centre in the morning and another that afternoon there is no extra charge for either centre. i.e. both will be $250 for 2 hours or $310 for 3 hours What time do you start? Usually after morning tea or, in an afternoon booking ,anytime after 2pm How much room do you need? Our activities are best enjoyed on grass. A 50m long x 20m wide area is the ideal but we have worked with less.Can you set up on concrete? Yes we can. We do modify activities slightly for the children's safety. What if it is wet or very hot? We can run the activities in an undercover area or sports hall. Do the children need special clothing? Enclosed shoes suitable for kicking and running plus a sun hat.
