Neither girls or boys need to be big on sport to enjoy this party. If they like having a good time and a good laugh they'll love this party. Expect them to have fun with at least 25 activities during the party.
This party is definitely NOT just for boys. We have run many very successful mixed and all girls parties too
While we run the fun side of the party all you need to do is keep them energised with food and drink.

9yo's have 3 great party choices - a 70 minute party; a 100 minute party (the most popular) and a 135 minute party. All include regular breaks for drinks and nibbles

The more space the kids have to enjoy the activities the more fun it will be for them. That is why we find parties that re held in a park are always our best parties
Backyard parties will only work if you have lots of open space and no distractions like trampolines
Because we know how spirited boys are and how girls just want to have fun we have come up with different party formats for each. If it is a mixed party, which many are, we have that covered too
The main party fun activities they get to enjoy include:
SPEED GAMES - This is speed gun fun to see how fast they can throw, kick, hit and more. Favourite speed activities are soccer and footy kicking, throwing, tee ball slogging and how fast they can run
GIANT SOCCER BALL FUN - When this 1 metre ball comes out the first response is "WOW". They love it when we have them lie down and squash them with it. Chesting this big ball is always a challenge they love to take on. Then it is a big favourite - Poison Ball. If they want more they can also try goal shots, distance kicks and time trial challenges
WACKY SPORTS & TRADITIONAL GAMES - It's wild n wacky crazy fun with dodge ball, mini vortex's, mini soccer balls, tee ball slogging fun and a giant rocket launcher OR "normal" games such as egg n spoon races, jumping sacks, 3 legged races, etc. Boys want only wacky games while girls enjoy both
CRAZY CHOOK GAMES - Expect noisy mayhem when we bring out our poor freaked out rubber chickens. Everyone gets their very own squawking chook for some very perculiar games. We also get the kids and their chooks together for you for that special party photo moment. Each chook is also named e.g. Syko, Noodles, Drumstick, Terry Aki, Weirdo, Burger, Dip Stick, Crazy, etc.
We are flexible with party activities. For example if your child loves soccer let us know when you book and we will include extra soccer activities to make their party is even more special

How do I make a booking? Call John on 0418 151 874 or complete our enquiry form. No deposit is required. Payment is on the day, preferably by cash. If you haven't chosen a park yet that's fine. You can still book your party now and advise the park details later on.What times can you do a party? Anytime between 9am and 10am or from 2-30pm on. Suggestion- Have the children start arriving about 30 minutes before our activities begin so all can be there for the "kick-off"
Do you supply invitations? Yes. For your free party invitations click on "Chuck the Chook' in the green box to your right. You will find a pdf from which you can print 2 invites per A4 page
Do you do after school parties? Yes. Generally with a 3-30pm, 3-45pm or 4pm start.
When choosing a park what should we look for? Toilets are a definite followed by tables, shade and a good size flat open area for activities. This age group like and need lots of room
Do the children need to wear special clothing? Hats for sun protection and shoes suitable for kicking.
Can you stop for food and drinks? They will have 5 minute breaks every 30 minutes for drinks, nibbles and a breather. We suggest you leave any hot food and the birthday cake till we finish
Do you supply food / prizes? No.
What if it is raining or likely to rain? A passing shower is not a problem but a constant downpour is. If the forecast is "rain" you can postpone or cancel. There is no cancellation fee. The final decision can be left till a few hours before the party if need be.
