Sporty Fun and Games Galore including the Giant Soccer Ball
An Aussie Sport Party is full of fun and games that children can play in a local park or a big backyard. Not only do they have fun with a range of Aussie’s best ball sports but we have come up with some novel activities they are sure to enjoy. What does it cost? If you wish to make it less competitive we are happy to do so. The fun activities they get to play include: SPEED GAMES - Individual fun where each child can see how fast they can throw, kick, hit and more into our sports speed booth. The favourites are usually throwing, soccer, footy, tennis, cricket slogging and the rocket launcher. A full list of speed activity choices is below. As all activities happen within the booth there are NO stray balls! We also bring a leader board which has the speed records for their own age for all ball sports. The records have been built up over the years and some are simply incredible! If any child can beat a record we will be very impressed. Naturally they will also become the new record holder. GIANT SOCCER BALL FUN - When this 1 metre ball is brought out their first response is "WOW" usually followed by a stampede as they all try to be the first to kick, push, lie or jump on the ball. After this "mad minute" they have fun with goal kicks, distance kicks, time trial challenges and other fun activities. They can even have a soccer match if they wantCRAZY CHOOK GAMES - We have come up with various games with the humble rubber chicken that this age group get right into; even 12 y.o.'s. As they each get their own squawking chook expect a lot of noise. We also get the children and their chooks together (plus the giant soccer ball) so you can get that special party photo. OUTDOOR GAMES - It's team and group activity fun out in the open with either sack races, relay races, target games, running races and more. Since most parties are just 2 hours long the children never get through all of our activities. But we do make sure they enjoy their favourites and especially those your birthday child really loves to do e.g. soccer kick speed This fun is not just for the children. Adults can join in at anytime. But beware! If you are beaten by the children there will be absolutely no place for you to hide!The activities they can have speed fun with are:

How much does it cost? Do you do parties after school? Yes. Generally with a 3.30pm or 4pm start.How many children should I invite? We recommend no less than 6 and no more than 15. The "ideal" number is 12. We have done parties with approx 20 children and find it definitely does slow down activities which causes restlessness then loss of interestWon't the balls damage the garden? No. The only risk is from the giant soccer ball but we will not bring it along if it is of concern. All other balls are either thrown, kicked or hit from directly in front of the Speed booth. We do not give the children the opportunity to miss. The Speed booth activities area required is 2.4m wide and 10m deep. Yard games need at least 30m length and 10m width but we have worked with less. Most of our parties are held in parks. Some on large properties and the rest in backyards Speed booth activities can be but we do modify activities for the children's safety.Can you stop for food and drinks? We will plan the fun around your requirements. You can stop between sessions or even have a half time break. Sometimes the food and drinks are setup near the Speed booth so the children can literally graze while having fun.What if it is raining or it is likely to rain? A brief shower is not a problem but a constant downpour is. Should bad weather be expected you can postpone or cancel. If it is a backyard party and there is room for the Speed booth under the patio or in the garage we can still proceed. The party is then mainly about having speed fun. We have successfully done many such parties. Yes.Do you have liability insurance cover? Yes. We have $10 million public liability insurance cover.Do I need to supply the sports equipment? No. Do the children need to wear special clothing? We suggest a sun hat and covered shoes suitable for kicking in.Can older and younger children join in the fun? YesHow do you measure the speeds? We use the same technology used at Wimbledon and at Test Cricket for measuring ball speeds. This equipment can measure the speed of almost anything that moves. The children can see how fast they are instantly on our large speed display board which we setup directly behind the Sports Party booth.
