An Aussie Sport Party is full of sports fun 'n' games that kids can enjoy in a park or a big backyard. While we look after the children all you need do is keep up the supply of food and drink. The party activities for 6 y.o's are very simple; "easy to do" and non competitive while 7 y.o.parties are a little bit more challenging. Parties for 8 y.o's are more testing and do include some competitve activities. Regardless of age your child's birthday party will be full of fun activities; have heaps of variety and lots of laughter. You can expect the kids to have fun with more than 20 of our 50 activity options By the party's end you too will understand why there really is no other party like an Aussie Sports Party The main party fun activities the children will get to enjoy include: SPEED GAMES - This is fast paced fun where they see how quick they can throw, kick, hit and more into a sports speed booth. Favourites are throwing, soccer kick, tee-ball slogging and the mini rocket launcher. A rubber chicken "target" will help their aim. They will also find out how fast they can run and how quick their "Kung Fu Panda" punch is!. GIANT SOCCER BALL FUN - When this 1 metre ball is brought out their first reaction is "WOW" .They then have fun with goal kicks, distance kicks, team pushing and team carrying of the ball. They also especially love it when we have them lie on the ground like a train track and the ball "squashes" them as it rolls along the track. CRAZY CHOOK GAMES - The kids absolutely love the fun games we have created with the humble rubber chicken. As every child gets their very own squawking chook it will get very noisy. So be warned! The fun activities include "speedy chook", "chook chuck, "astro chook", "chook hugs" plus the hilariously funny "raining chickens" and "chicken run" . We also gather the children and the chooks together (plus the giant soccer ball) for you for that special party photo moment. To help the kids "bond" with their new best friend all have a name.e.g. Drumstick, Noodles, Egg Head, Bonkers, Crazy, Cackles, Kay-ef-see, Chooky, Chicky Babe, Wing Nut, Snack Pack and Nugget OPEN SPACE GAMES - It's team and group activity fun with either sack races, target games, egg 'n' spoon races, three legged races, noodle games, relay races, running races, giant rocket launcher fun, mini soccer balls galore and lots more While we do our best to keep the children "busy" there are always some who are easily distracted and may drift in and out of the fun. How much does it cost? By either 10am or anytime from 2pm onwards. These times avoid the midday heat and allow enough time to travel and setup between parties. Suggestion: On the invitations put a start time of 15 or 30 minutes before our activities are due to begin. This ensures everyone is there for the "kick off"Do you do parties after school? Yes. Generally with a 3.30pm or 4pm start.How many children should I invite? We recommend no less than 6 and no more than 18. The "ideal" number is approximately 15. We have done parties with up to 20 children and find it definitely does slow down some activities which causes the children to become restlessWon't the balls damage the garden? No. The only risk is from the big soccer ball but we will not bring it if it is of concern. All other balls are either thrown, kicked or hit from directly in front of the Speed booth. We do not give the children the opportunity to miss the booth. The Speed booth area required is 2.4m wide and 6m deep. Yard games need at least 30m length and 10m width but we have worked with less. Most parties are now held in parks with the remainder in large backyards or on acreage properties Yes but we do have modify some activities for the children's safety.Can you stop for food and drinks? We will plan the fun around your requirements. You can have a short break between sessions or even a half time break. Sometimes the food and drinks are setup near the Speed booth so the children can literally graze while having fun.What if it is raining or it is likely to rain? A brief shower is not a problem but a constant downpour is. Should bad weather be expected you can postpone or cancel. If it is a backyard party and there is room for the Speed booth under the patio or in the garage we can still proceed. The party is then mainly about having speed fun. We have successfully done many before. Yes.Do you have liability insurance cover? Yes. We have $10 million public liability insurance cover.Do I need to supply the sports equipment? No. Do the children need to wear special clothing? We suggest a sun hat and covered shoes suitable for kicking in.Can older and younger children join in the fun? YesHow do you measure the speeds? We use the same technology used at Wimbledon and at Test Cricket for measuring ball speeds. This equipment can measure the speed of almost anything that moves. The children can see how fast they are instantly on our large speed display board which we setup directly behind the speed booth. No. If you wish to hand out prizes we recommend it be done at the end of the party. If done during the party we find that children do stress out over when or if they will get a prize.
