Our Aussie Sports Party for 9 year olds is jam packed with sporty fun and crazy games galore.
Neither girls or boys need to be big on sport to enjoy this party. If they like having a good time and a good laugh they'll love this party. Expect them to have fun with at least 25 activities during the party. Because we know how spirited boys are and how girls just want to have fun we have devised different party formats for each. If it is a mixed party; which some are; we have that covered too. While we run the fun side of the party all you need to do is keep them energised with food and drink. Both are for up to 20 children and include regular drinks/nibble breaks. All your other questions are answered further below. If your weekends are busy we can help with a 100 minute After School Party which is cheaper at $225. The more space the kids have for activities the more fun it will be for them. We can run the party in your backyard but for their maximum enjoyment we really do recommend you have this party in a park The main party fun activities they get to enjoy include: SPEED GAMES - This is speed gun fun to see how fast they can throw, kick, hit and more. Favourite speed activities are soccer and footy kicking, throwing, tee ball slogging and how fast they can run GIANT SOCCER BALL FUN - When this 1 metre ball comes out the first response is "WOW". They love it when we have them lie down and play "Squash Ya Ball" on them. This is usually followed by goal shots then a big favourite - Poison Ball. If they want more they can try distance kicks and time trial challenges WACKY SPORTS & TRADITIONAL GAMES - It's wild n wacky crazy fun with dodge ball, mini vortex's, mini gridiron balls, mini soccer balls, tee ball slogging fun and a giant rocket launcher OR "normal" games such as egg n spoon races, jumping sacks, 3 legged races, etc. Boys prefer the wacky games while girls enjoy both CRAZY CHOOK GAMES - Expect noisy mayhem when we bring out our poor freaked out rubber chickens. Everyone gets their very own squawking chook for some very perculiar games. We also get the kids and their chooks together for you for that special party photo moment. Each chook is also named e.g. Syko, Noodles, Drumstick, Terry Aki, Weirdo, Burger, Dip Stick, Crazy, etc. We are flexible with party activities. Frequently Asked Questions How do I make a booking? Call John on 0418 151 874 or complete our enquiry form. No deposit is required. It is simply payment on the day by cash or cheque. If you haven't chosen a park yet it isn't a problem. You can go ahead and book your party now and advise the park details later on.What times can you do a party? Anytime between 8am and 10am or from 2-30pm onwards. Suggestion- Have the children arrive about 15 minutes before our activities start so all can be there for the "kick-off" Do you do after school parties? Yes. Generally with a 3-30pm or 4pm start. It is also cheaper How many children should I invite? The "ideal" number for this age group is approx 15 but we can run a party for any number up to 20 which includes the birthday child and siblings. Please note we only bring enough gear to cater for 20 children. If there are more than 20 some will be unable to participate in various activities as we would not have enough balls etc. to go around. When choosing a park what should we look for? Toilets are a definite followed by tables, shade and a good size flat open area for activities. This age group like and need lots of room Do the children need to wear special clothing? Hats for sun protection and shoes suitable for kicking in. Can you stop for food and drinks? They will have 5 minute breaks every 30 minutes for drinks, nibbles and a breather. We suggest you leave any hot food and the birthday cake till we finish Do you supply food / prizes? No. How many run the activities? Just one. Parents who want to help out are very welcome. What if it is raining or likely to rain? A passing shower is not a problem but a constant downpour is. Should bad weather be expected you can postpone or cancel. There is no cancellation fee. The final decision can be left till a few hours before the party if need be. If the party is on your property we can setup the Speed booth under a patio or in a garage. The party is then all about having speed fun.
